Light duty roller conveyors offer an economical system for the transport of unit loads (totes, cartons, packages, pallets). Heavy-duty roller conveyors are only used for heavy rollable unit loads and can take loads of several tons per meter.

Roller conveyors are used as gravity conveyors for rapid and low-noise transport with an inclination of 2 to 5% and therefore do not require a drive, which of course also results in cost savings. Therefore, plastic rollers are usually installed here.

Shear load roller conveyors are equipped with the appropriate motor drive depending on the weight of the transported goods. To be able to transport the heavy goods, these roller conveyors are equipped with steel rollers.

Stowing, sorting, distributing
Roller conveyors are used in both distribution and picking. Accumulation roller conveyors can be used to temporarily accumulate the transported goods, for example to prevent collisions when distributing the goods to another conveyor line.

By means of pushers, the transported goods are either transferred to another conveyor line, to connected receiving points in order picking from goods issue or storage locations from a pallet roller warehouse.
